Rosé Spritzer

We've officially made it to the lazy days of summer. It's just too hot to be very ambitious, especially when it comes to refreshment. This spritzer recipe is the perfect drink for a hot summer day and it is really simple to make, with only four ingredients.

Rosé Spritzer (adapted from Bon Appétit)

Ingredients:
(makes 1)
2 lemon slices
4 dashes bitters (I used plum)
½ ounce St-Germain (elderflower liqueur)
4 ounces sparkling rosé (or add 1 ounce club soda to regular rosé)

Directions:
Place lemon slices, bitters, and St-Germain in a glass. Add ice; top with rosé.

It really doesn't get much easier than that! And do you need another excuse to keep St-Germain around the house? I didn't think so.
