A Room For Bebe

As you all probably know by now, my husband James and I have been hard at work on a pretty room for my baby girl, who is due July 12. Well, with only a couple weeks to spare we have almost finished, and I thought I would share with you the fruit of our labor. We wanted it to be a space that was calming for all three of us, but with plenty to look at and be inspired by.

My parents gave me this great old glider rocker a few weeks ago. It was perfect for the baby's room, it just needed a little sprucing up to fit in with everything else. So, with the help of my husband James, I got this old gal dolled up and ready to go out on the town. Or in my baby room.

While shopping for decor for my baby's room, I had a real problem finding a mobile that was actually worth looking at. Everything was branded and cheesy. It just wasn't what I wanted my first child to be staring at for long periods of time. So, stubborn woman that I am, I decided to make my own.
