An Autumnal Cocktail

You can keep your pumpkin until November. When the first chill of fall hits, and the leaves begin to turn, I find myself wanting apple everything, especially cider. Here's a cocktail that pairs my preferred seasonal beverage with a traditional compliment: cinnamon. I have found that it goes particularly well with post-season Cardinal baseball.


Apple Cider Cocktail

Ingredients:
1 part Red Stag by Jim Beam, cinnamon infused bourbon
2 parts apple cider
Squeeze of lemon juice
Dash of balsamic vinegar

Serve over ice or hot.
