After a two month hiatus I have finally found a bit of time, and more importantly, inspiration, to return to blogging. The source of my inspiration is this little critter seen above. The love of my life; Lola. I want to remember every second of every day with her, but since mom-brain has made sure that I am barely capable of remembering what I had for breakfast this morning, I have decided to jot down a few notes about this little charmer in the blog for posterity.
So Lola is seven months old now and a whopping 21 pounds of giggles and grunts of determination.
She is fearless, and will use her own body weight as leverage to swing out of your arms and into whatever may be.
She loves strawberry puré in her cereal (who doesn't?), back scratches, and splashing in the tub.
She appears to be able to say "Mama," but I am still on the fence as to whether or not she applies it to me.
She has two teeth and loves to bite me with them when I momentarily stop paying attention to her.
She loves to laugh almost as much as she loves to make others laugh.
She is fascinated by the food of others (who isn't?).
She is loving, and expressive and a joy to be around. She's even cheerful when she's sick, which is commendable.
She rarely goes to bed without a fight, but is sound asleep before you can leave the room
I think that's it for the moment, but I can't wait to fill you in as this little rascal grows and grows!
She's amazing Sam, what a doll!
